BiographyBorn in San Francisco, California, USA, I grew up with my Dad's books: "Jonathan Livingston Seagull — a story" by Richard Bach and "I'm OK, You're OK" by Thomas A. Harris MD. Today, I always carry a copy of "On Cosmopolitanism and Forgiveness" by Jacques Derrida thanks to Meenu Gaur.
There are a lot of places that I call 'home'. Mostly, amazing people from around the world have influenced my sense of home. I am thankful for their graciousness and for how much they widened my understanding of our world by giving me accurate assessments of their lives in their own voices. My deepest appreciation to Virginia and Ernest Conner, Jr., Professor Yasmin Moll, Mary Ghattas, Merche, Adelina and Juan Luis Piqueras Casabuena, Karen Barrow, Angeles Belda Lacomba, Professor Annabelle Sreberny, Phil Adams, the Clarke family and Agatha Hoff.
